OUR DISTRICT
Our service area incorporates 282 square miles west, northwest, and southwest of Eugene, Oregon.

We operate out of 16 stations, 3 of which have career staffing 24/7.  Administration is based at our Veneta Headquarters Station; ambulance service operations are out of the Irving station. The 13 remaining stations are supported by more than 60 dedicated volunteers.

The District is governed by a 10 member elected Board and led by the Fire Chief, who is employed by the Board. The Fire Chief is the CEO of the District and all other District personnel work for and under the Fire Chief’s direction.

The District operates an Advanced Life Support ambulance service within an Ambulance Service Area that includes several fire districts and extends into two other counties.
