Description

The primary purpose of this classification is to ensure the safety of individuals  by carrying out emergency medical service (EMS) activities, primarily on an ambulance. In addition to responding to emergencies, EMS providers also dedicate a significant amount of time to training in various EMS skills. They are responsible for maintaining and repairing medical equipment and apparatus, as well as taking care of the buildings and grounds where they work. Furthermore, they actively engage in public education activities related to medical emergencies.
